Do you organize weddings at the villa?
We organize religious and civil marriage ceremonies at the villa, with the exception of Catholic weddings: these can be performed in the town church and subsequently celebrated at the villa. As an alternative, you might like to choose to receive a blessing from a Catholic priest in the villa or organize a symbolic wedding.
Can you organize the translation of the relative documents and of the marriage service?
Yes, an interpreter will be present throughout the service and the documents will be translated in the language of the bride and groom.
Do you supply catering?
Yes, we regularly work with a company specializing in large-scale events.
How many guests can attend a wedding at Villa Oliviero?
The terraces of the villa can comfortably accommodate up to between 120 and 150 people .
In the case of adverse weather conditions, can the terraces be covered?
The terraces of the villa can be easily covered. Only the stairs between the terraces will remain exposed to the elements.
Up to what time can the party last?
Music and entertainment can last until midnight.
Are there other places where guests can stay nearby?
Yes, Villa Oliviero has additional apartments available that sleep 2 to 4 guests. If you have a large number of guests requiring accommodation, we can obtain preferential rates in a number of hotels in Positano.

Individual Rooms

Is it possible to book just one room in the villa at any time of the year?
No, individual rooms can only be booked in low season: November, December, and April (the villa is closed from January through March).
What is the minimum stay?
Three nights. During holidays, Christmas, and Easter, a longer minimum stay may apply.
Do you have wi-fi?
Yes, there is free wireless in all bedrooms and common areas.
Do you provide infant cots, cribs, and high chairs?
Yes, at no extra charge.
What is included in the price?
Continental breakfast, welcome cocktail, wifi, satellite TV, air conditioning, utilities, housekeeping, 4-person staff including a cook who prepares à la carte menus.

The Villa

How many guests can the villa host?
The villa has six double bedrooms, with a total sleeping capacity of 12 guests. Infant cots and cribs can be added. There are two small apartments near the villa with additional sleeping space for two guests each, that can be booked as additional rooms.
What is the minimum stay?
From June to through August, the villa is available to be booked in its entirety for a minimum of 1 week, from Saturday to Saturday.
In the mid-season (October, April, and May), the villa can be booked for three or four nights, minimum. In other months, the minimum stay is three nights.
Is there a pool?
The outdoor pool is open from May to October, and the heated hot tub and steam room are open all year round.
How large is the villa staff?
There is a four-person full-time staff at the villa: housekeeper, groundskeeper, server, and cook. Five hours of daily housekeeping are included in the villa rental.
How far is the villa from the center of Positano, restaurants, and shops?
Villa Oliviero is just 150 steps away from the main road, where the town center begins and Positano's restaurants and shops are located.
The beach is a 10 to 15-minute walk away.
Is breakfast served in the villa?
Yes, breakfast is included and every morning you'll be served a generous Continental breakfast at the time you choose. American or English breakfast is also available at an extra charge.
Can I have lunch or dinner in the villa?
Of course! The kitchen is equipped with everything you might possibly need to prepare meals or snacks during the day.
Can I order lunch or dinner in the villa?
Yes, the services of our cook are always available. You can order from the à la carte menu in the villa at any time.
Do you provide infant cribs,cots, and high chairs?
Yes, and cots and infant beds can be added in all rooms free of charge.
Do you organize tours and excursions from the villa?
Yes, we can arrange private tours to Ravello, Amalfi and Capri as well as exclusive tours of the Vatican museums and luxury Italian fashion outlets.

Positano

In which months of the year can you swim in the sea?
Generally, the mild climate of the Amalfi Coast makes swimming in the sea a valid option from mid April until the first days of November.
This said, on particularly sunny winter days, you can relax on the beach and you may well find someone taking a dip even in January.
What is the average winter daytime temperature in Positano?
Daytime temperatures are at their lowest in January, when they drop to around 12 C°.
Do restaurants and shops stay open in the winter?
Some businesses do close in January and February but you will always find a good selection of shops and restaurants open in Positano, whatever the time of year.
